Renault - Caravelle 1100 S Convertible 1,1L - NO RESERVE - 1965

Don't miss this opportunity and become the new owner of this unique classic Renault convertible! This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. The Renault Caravelle was a roadster launched by the Renault company and it was built between 1958 and 1968. Between 1958 and 1962, the car was sold in Europe as Renault Floride. The Floride was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1958. The car, designed by Pietro Frua from coachbuilder Ghia, was built on the chassis of the Renault Dauphine and also contained its 845cc 35HP engine which was placed in the rear. In 1964, the engine was replaced by a 1108cc engine from the Renault 8 with a power of 57 HP. This Renault is in neat condition. The vehicle starts directly and idles nicely and the car shifts smoothly through all gears. The Renault brakes properly and the engine bay looks fresh and neat. The car has the original leather which is still in very good condition. Beautiful whitewall tyres give the car a fitting retro look. And a neat soft-top. The paintwork is still in good condition with the exception of a few traces of wear which is not unexpected given its age. Don't wait too long and place your bid to become the new owner of this unique Renault, which is increasingly difficult to find and offered less and less frequently.
